Joy Xing, CMHC Intern
Breathwork, Perinatal & Birth Therapy
I believe therapy is about empowering you to grow and blossom through your suffering. What happened in the past can be healed—no matter what it is. Trauma and negative emotions can be transformed into your unique treasure.
I work with individuals and families of any ages, gender, races and background. I’m offering integrative and trauma-informed therapy rooted in mindfulness, breathwork, and transpersonal psychotherapy. Whether you are navigating PTSD, attachment issues, depression, anxiety, grief, birth trauma, or the effects of domestic violence, I provide a nurturing space for deep healing and self-discovery. I have worked at Utah State Hospital for three years with clients suffering from severe mental health challenges.
With over seven years of training in breathwork and transpersonal psychology—and a decade as a Birth Psychology Mentor and childbirth educator—I specialize in supporting clients through profound healing and rebirth from early attachment and perinatal trauma. I also specialized in working with pregnant families to prevent birth trauma.
Drawing from a global background with training across Europe, the U.S., South Korea, and China, I blend Eastern and Western healing modalities to meet each client with a personalized, soul-centered approach. In our sessions, I may incorporate sound baths, movement, hypnotherapy, art therapy, dance therapy, somatic therapy, positive psychology
and even mindful eating—whatever resonates with your process.
Healing is a courageous path, but you don’t have to walk it alone.
